SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series-calibre visuals are promised in the official trailer for Mani Ratnam’s highly awaited magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan Part 1, or PS-1, which promises a huge production.

The teaser was made available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, respectively, by actors Suriya, Mahesh Babu, Mohanlal, Rakshit Shetty, and Amitabh Bachchan.

As Mani Ratnam’s first attempt at directing a sizable historical drama, PS-1 appears to have the ability to provide us with an unforgettable big-screen experience.

After setting up the environment at the beginning of the one minute and 20 second teaser, we witness Vikram’s Aditya Karikalan causing mayhem while pining after the woman of his dreams.

In a moment of sorrow and rage, Aditya declares, “The wine, the song, the blood, and the conflict, everything is to forget her, to forget me.”

A magnificent visual experience is promised as an all-star cast is visible in each shot looking royal and gorgeous.

The main characters are presented in the teaser, and a stunning recounting of the occasions that elevated the Chola dynasty to the status of a powerful empire on the Southern subcontinent in the 10th century is promised.

Additionally, this film has a number of intricate conflicts set in diverse settings, including maybe one of the finest combat scenes ever produced in Indian cinema.
